The "Old Master Q" comic series has been a cherished part of Hong Kong's cultural history, entertaining generations of readers. Launched in 1962 by the original creator Wong Kar-hei, who used the pen name Wong Chak after his eldest son, the comic was first published in local newspapers.

In 1995, Wong Chak took over the creation of "Old Master Q" from his aging father. He has since continued to uphold the spirit of the comic, which remains popular to this day.
