Google's artificial intelligence (AI) model Gemini will gradually be available to all users in Hong Kong. The company will slowly expand the Gemini web app experience to all users across the region, with plans to include the Gemini mobile app shortly.
General Manager, Sales and Operations of Google Hong Kong, Michael Yue, stated, "We believe that expanding the Gemini experience will bring more creativity and productivity to Hong Kong, helping us fulfill our goal of 'innovating possibilities together for Hong Kong.' In the future, we will continue to responsibly build a full-stack AI ecosystem that makes AI more useful for everyone."
Users will be able to generate multimedia content, including images and music.
Gemini lets users apply Google's advanced AI models directly to assist with daily tasks, including drafting complex emails, brainstorming ideas for personal projects, and planning family trips.
The capabilities of the Gemini model have been integrated into and are driving Google's ecosystem. Different communities in Hong Kong, including businesses, developers, educators, and students, are continually utilizing these features. Gemini brings more possibilities for people to interact with information through text, images, and voice, allowing users to generate multimedia content like images and music.
