Smoke was seen rising over the US Embassy compound in Baghdad, Iraq's capital, on the morning of March 14, according to reports from CCTV News.

Iranian sources claimed that the embassy's air defense system was struck and destroyed during the attack.

As of now, the US has not issued any response regarding the incident.
