During the National People's Congress on March 10, Mr. Ding Xuexiang, Vice Premier of the State Council and head of the Central Leading Group on Hong Kong and Macao Affairs, attended the deliberation of the Hong Kong delegation. Dr. Lam Shun-chiu, Dennis, a Hong Kong deputy to the NPC, stated in his speech that Hong Kong possesses unique advantages and is well-positioned to play the triple role of "super-connector, super value-adder, and super partner" in the field of medical technology innovation. This will help the nation achieve the goals of the 15th Five-Year Plan and promote Hong Kong's development into an international medical innovation hub connecting China with the world.
