Weight management:
- Keep your Body Mass Index (BMI) between 19 and 24.
- For adult men, maintain a waist circumference under 90 cm; for adult women, under 85 cm.
Cancer prevention:
- Change unhealthy habits and lifestyles, such as: Long-term smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, irregular routines, poor nutrition, lack of exercise, psychological stress, or suboptimal health conditions.
- Lung cancer screening: If you are over 50, a long-term smoker, have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or a family history of lung cancer, get a low-dose spiral CT scan annually.
- Colorectal cancer screening: For those over 50 who are overweight, have a smoking history, or a family history of colorectal cancer, undergo a colonoscopy every 3–5 years.
- Stomach cancer screening: If you are over 45, a heavy drinker, have gastric ulcer symptoms, or a family history of stomach cancer, get a gastroscopy every 3–5 years.
