On March 5, the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) opened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Hong Kong NPC deputy Cally Kwong said the government work report is a "truth-seeking and pragmatic" report.
She noted that the past few years have not been easy amid a challenging global environment, yet China has continued to develop well. Kwong stressed the need for unity and expressed confidence that things will continue to improve.
Speaking about robots, she said they can support industrial upgrading but must be properly managed, adding that human beings—through compassion and the goodwill, friendliness, and sincerity reflected in our eyes—embody an irreplaceable strength and energy.
