Ocean Park is set to celebrate the "Ocean Park Lunar Fiesta 2026" from Feb. 17 to March 22, with its beloved animal ambassadors receiving creative Lunar New Year gifts thoughtfully prepared by their caretakers.
At "The Grand Aquarium", the seahorse family will swim through colorful holiday decorations, while green sea turtle Taro and the popular pufferfish influencer Fat Bo will enjoy their newly adorned festive homes.
In the "Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Treasures" and "Giant Panda Adventure", fan-favorite giant pandas will receive an array of Lunar New Year goodies.
Meanwhile, the golden snub-nosed monkeys will delight in ice sculptures meticulously crafted by their caretakers, offering them a cool and festive experience.
The "Sloth and Friends Studio", which reopened late last year, will see two-toed sloth Sonic and its new neighbors celebrating Lunar New Year together for the first time.
To mark the first day of the Lunar New Year (Feb. 17), Ocean Park will host a grand ceremony featuring eight dazzling lion dancers and a giant dragon at the park's main entrance at 9:15 a.m.
A beautifully designed float will also appear in the "Cathay International Chinese New Year Night Parade" and will remain on display in the park from Feb. 18 to March 3.
