As the Lunar New Year holiday approaches, a wave of travelers has rushed to Hong Kong's West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station. The station, a vital gateway connecting HK to the Mainland, has become one of the busiest transportation hubs in recent days.
The DotDotNews reporter arrived at the station this morning (Feb. 14) around 8 a.m. to find the waiting hall already packed to capacity. Seats were fully occupied, and throngs of travelers were seen lugging their suitcases and patiently waiting to board trains heading north.
Some passengers on-site reported that it takes at least 30 minutes to move from the station entrance to the ticket inspection area due to the congestion.
