The last two remaining giant pandas in Japan left Tokyo's Ueno Zoo on Tuesday (Jan. 27) for their return to China.
As Sunday was their final day meeting the public, visitors flocked to catch one last glimpse of the adorable pandas before their departure.
It is the first time that there will be no panda in Japan in around half a century.
The twin pandas, Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei, were transported by truck from the Ueno Zoological Gardens to Narita Airport, where they were scheduled to board a flight back to China.
