A recent cold wave sweeping through east China's Anhui Province has led to significant ice accumulation on power lines, posing substantial threats to the electrical grid.
At a remote mountain outpost in Huangfan Village, Gen-Z power maintenance workers Gu Qingpu and Li Wenke employed a robot to clear the ice buildup. Working in coordination with human crews, the use of the robot enhanced operational efficiency and reduced safety risks — demonstrating an effective integration of technology and teamwork.
