According to Xinhua News Agency, at 11:12 pm on Jan. 14, 2026, He Jiaolong, director of the agricultural products brand development and production-sales service center of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, unfortunately passed away due to ineffective rescue efforts caused by injuries, at the age of only 47.
At around 3 pm on Jan. 11, due to work needs, He Jiaolong was engaged in preliminary filming for an agricultural product e-commerce sales activity in Bozhou City when she accidentally fell from her horse and suffered severe head injuries. She was immediately sent to Bozhou People's Hospital for treatment. The Bozhou Party Committee and government quickly arranged resources to rescue her, actively contacting relevant domestic experts for consultation. The regional health committee dispatched experts to participate in the rescue efforts. On Jan. 13, He Jiaolong was transferred to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University for intensive medical care, but on Jan. 14, she unfortunately passed away due to her severe injuries.
He Jiaolong, female, Han ethnicity, a member of the Communist Party of China, was born in Dec. 1979 in Shehong, Sichuan. She was awarded the National March 8th Red Banner Pacesetter, the 2022 Agricultural Person of the Year, and other honors. In 2020, while serving as the deputy county head of Zhaosu County, she utilized social accounts to conduct live-streaming sales for farmers. In Nov. of that year, she became famous online through a travel promotion video filmed while riding in the snow. After being transferred to her current position in 2023, she promoted e-commerce reforms for over 400 agriculture-related enterprises. In recent years, He Jiaolong actively engaged in promoting Xinjiang's cultural tourism and conducting live-streaming agricultural assistance activities, receiving no personal compensation, and donating all live-streaming rewards to charitable causes.
