On Jan. 12, Google and Apple announced a landmark multi-year partnership, marking a significant step in the evolution of artificial intelligence. Under this agreement, Apple will leverage Google's cutting-edge AI model, Gemini, and its cloud technology to power the upcoming iteration of Siri, set to launch later this year alongside Apple's future foundational AI platform, Apple Intelligence.

However, Apple has not disclosed a specific timeline for the Siri rollout.

The announcement sent Alphabet Inc. Class C shares up by 1.09% on the same day, reaching an all-time high and making Alphabet's market capitalization surpass US$4 trillion.

Notably, Alphabet's stock has risen approximately 65% over the past year. On Jan. 7, Alphabet surpassed Apple in market capitalization for the first time since 2019, becoming the second-largest publicly traded company in the US market, just behind Nvidia. Analysts attribute Alphabet's rise to its robust advancements in artificial intelligence.
