Looking for somewhere to go to kick off the new year? The grand finale event of "Merry Balloon Hong Kong," the "Merry Balloon Parade, "will take place on Jan. 11! Starting from 12 p.m. today (Jan. 7), the organizer will distribute over 10,000 free "Viewing Zone" tickets via Klook, with a limit of two tickets per Klook account.
On the event day, nearly 20 giant helium balloons featuring globally and locally beloved IP characters will soar through the skies over Victoria Harbour and parade along the waterfront, from the Hong Kong Palace Museum to the M+ Museum, giving both locals and tourists a chance to enjoy the spectacle for free.
The parade procession will start at the Hong Kong Palace Museum, travel to the M+ Museum, and then return to its starting point. The entire parade is divided into a morning session and an afternoon session, with four designated viewing zones along the route, allowing spectators to enjoy the parade up close. Among these, "Zone B" and "Zone C" are particularly ideal spots as they offer stunning views of both the parade and Victoria Harbour.
