On New Year's Eve 2025, as we bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new one, multiple countdown celebrations will be held in Hong Kong. Prudential will host the Star Ferry free ride day, allowing all residents to ride the Star Ferry for free between Tsim Sha Tsui and Central today (Dec. 31) from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm.
Additionally, on December 31, Harbour City and several restaurants will extend their operating hours to continue the festivities into the new year. The large outdoor decorations will remain open until 12:30 am on January 1, and a dreamy snow effect will be added during the evening, creating a romantic winter atmosphere for everyone.
