The 14th National People's Congress (NPC) will open its fourth annual session in Beijing on March 5, 2026, according to a decision made by the NPC Standing Committee on Saturday (Dec. 27).
The decision was adopted at the end of an NPC Standing Committee session held from Monday to Saturday.
Meanwhile, the fourth session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) has been suggested to start on March 4, 2026, in Beijing.
The suggestion was made at a recent Chairperson's Council meeting of the 14th CPPCC National Committee.
