As Christmas approaches, the Hong Kong Police Force announced in a social media post on Dec. 20 that from Dec. 20 to Dec. 27, the public can visit Tsim Sha Tsui East to take photos with the Christmas-themed light installations set up by the police. The event, titled "Little Grape Bling Bling @TST East 2025," features four carefully designed photo spots.
This year's must-see highlight is a 5.5-metre-tall giant LED sphere, the "Transforming Little Grape Crystal Ball," installed above the fountain at the Centenary Garden. It displays 10 adorable facial expressions of "Little Grape" along with animated Christmas crystal ball visuals.
Above the garden, a massive canopy has also been installed, decorated with countless sparkling lights designed in the shape of "Little Grape," creating an immersive "Little Grape Christmas Walkway."
In addition to the popular photo installations and light displays from previous years, the police have incorporated new interactive technology elements, allowing the public to learn anti-scam knowledge in a relaxed way amid the festive Christmas atmosphere.
A total of 26 "Little Grape" art installations have been set up along the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade and at the Centenary Garden. Each installation is equipped with a unique QR code. By scanning the code and correctly answering anti-scam questions, participants can randomly receive a digital "Little Grape Card" for collection.
Meanwhile, the Christmassy Little Grape Lane" will continue this year, running from Salisbury Road through the Centenary Garden to Empire Centre. Along the route, six Christmas-themed huts have been set up where the public can collect free "Little Grape Stamp Cards."
Christmas-themed "Little Grape" animations will also be displayed on the LED screens at Tsim Sha Tsui Centre and Empire Centre. In addition, the Mody Road Footbridge will be adorned with brand-new themed light decorations, continuing the collective memory of enjoying Christmas lights in Tsim Sha Tsui East.
