An industrial accident occurred this afternoon at Mong Kok East MTR Station, where three workers were reportedly hospitalized after inhaling suspected chemical gas during maintenance work.
According to the report, the incident occurred at approximately 2:00 PM on December 22, as workers were carrying out repair operations inside the station concourse. The workers suddenly collapsed, believed to be due to exposure to chemical fumes.
Emergency responders arrived swiftly at the scene and transported the affected workers to the hospital for treatment. The relevant authorities are currently investigating the exact nature of the gas involved and the cause of the incident.
