Discovery Bay will host a Christmas outdoor market featuring nearly 50 popular brands, with free ferry rides available on designated days. Meanwhile, Citywalk in Tsuen Wan is organizing a five-day outdoor coffee festival, offering champion-level coffee, Turkish coffee, and vinyl music for a multi-sensory experience. Additionally, Central's PMQ will showcase the GORIN ART EXHIBITION, where three 60cm-tall statues will be available for pre-order, accompanied by immersive Japanese-style displays. Don't miss out!

Discovery Bay Christmas outdoor market: Fine wine, gourmet food, and handmade crafts for an Italian winter wonderland

Discovery Bay will hold its Christmas outdoor market from Dec. 25 to 28 at the Discovery Bay Plaza. With the theme of an Italian winter market, the venue will feature romantic string lights and small wooden huts to create a festive Christmas vibe. The market will include a rich lineup of nearly 50 popular brands, such as the authentic Thai chicken rice and grilled skewers from "Water Gate Chicken Rice," the much-loved Korean cuisine from "Joo Korean Grill & Bar," and locally brewed craft beer by "DB Brew."

The market will offer a wide array of food, coffee, handmade accessories, lifestyle products, and pet supplies. There will also be bonsai workshops and face painting services.

All rental income from the market stalls will be donated in full, without deducting costs, to residents affected by the Tai Po fire incident.

Discovery Bay will also feature several Christmas-themed light displays and photo spots. At night, the plaza will be illuminated with dazzling light projections and snow effects, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the festive warmth. On Dec. 25 and 26, Santa Claus will make surprise appearances, handing out gifts and interacting with visitors.

On Boxing Day (Dec. 26), Discovery Bay North will host the "Best Music · Best Taste @ DB" event, featuring performances by "Midlife, Sing & Shine!" champion Chau Kat-pui, third-place winner Lo Kai-ho, and rising girl groups Beanies and IdG Bubbles, who will bring warm holiday cheer through their music.

From Dec. 25 to 28, the public can enjoy a free ferry ride to Discovery Bay. Starting now until Jan. 1, 2026, on weekends and public holidays, a free ferry service will be available on the 11:30 a.m. departure from Central Pier No. 3 to Discovery Bay. On Sundays and public holidays, the free service will also extend to Discovery Bay North. Simply use an Octopus card for access. The offer is limited to one-way trips on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. On Dec. 24, the free ferry will depart at 11:40 a.m.

To celebrate the holiday season, Citywalk in Tsuen Wan will host the Winter Coffee Market from Dec. 24 to 28, offering specialty coffee, creative drinks, and Christmas-themed desserts, with exclusive promotions to let visitors savor the festive spirit.

The market will feature several popular local brands, bringing coffee enthusiasts a wide range of choices and surprises. Highlights include Restation Place Coffee Workshop, ROR Coffee Roasters Roastery, Gadot Coffee, and Coffee Omakase, offering pour-over coffee, drip bags, coffee capsules, and Christmas-themed gift boxes with special discounts. In addition to these coffee brands, LY Bakery and Tokyo Bakery will introduce a variety of baked goods to add sweetness to your coffee moments.

Notably, the market will host two renowned coffee experts from Taiwan, bringing international-level experiences to coffee lovers. Lin Dong-yuan, founder of GABEE., who has over 20 years of experience and was crowned Taiwan Barista Champion, will present award-winning roasted coffee for visitors to enjoy its professional-grade flavors. Another prominent figure, Chacha Tong, founder of YiYi Liquid Art and former head judge of the World Coffee Championship, will launch a Christmas-exclusive drink, White Lover, blending pineapple liqueur, sake, pomegranate juice, and coffee in limited quantities.

The market will also create a "Vinyl Record Coffee Lounge," where music and coffee lovers can enjoy specialty coffee in a nostalgic ambiance. The playlist will include local hits from the '80s and '90s, Western classics, and Christmas-themed songs, blending the warmth of music with the aroma of coffee to create a unique sensory experience.

Additionally, the market will host several Turkish Coffee Workshops, where professional baristas will demonstrate traditional sand-cooking techniques, allowing participants to brew rich Turkish coffee themselves. The workshops will also include entertaining fortune-telling sessions using coffee grounds. Participants can redeem workshop spots through S⁺REWARDS points to experience the slow brewing process of Turkish coffee in fine sand.

Visitors who purchase coffee drinks will receive capsule tokens for a capsule game, with chances to win movie tickets, select snacks, and holiday gifts. Furthermore, through the AlipayHK "Together for Good" campaign, a donation of HK$20 will allow participants to redeem a free cup of coffee during the event. Limited spots are available daily on a first-come, first-served basis.

The exhibition showcases large-scale armor sculptures while recreating scenes from Japan's Sengoku period, immersing visitors in the world of samurai and the spirit of bushido, representing loyalty and resilience. The event also features collaborations with 10 painters from around the globe, showcasing diverse sculptural styles.

The exhibition spotlights three imposing 60cm-tall statues, intricately designed to capture the weight of samurai armor and the tension of their souls. These three statues are available for pre-order.
