The verdict in the case involving Jimmy Lai, founder of Next Digital, and three related companies of Apple Daily, accused of conspiring to collude with foreign forces, was announced this morning (Dec. 15). Lai's prison van arrived at the West Kowloon Magistrates' Court around 7:30 am, where armed police from the counter-terrorism special unit were present for security.
