According to Xinhua News Agency, the Thai Army on Dec. 14 condemned Cambodia's attack on a civilian area in Sisaket province, which resulted in the death of a Thai civilian. The Thai Army spokesman said that there is currently no ceasefire agreement.
The Thai Army issued a statement saying that Cambodia launched an attack on a civilian community and school area in Sisaket province that day using BM-21 rocket launchers. One civilian was killed by shrapnel, and a house caught fire. Thailand strongly condemned Cambodia's attacks on civilian areas unrelated to military operations for two consecutive days, resulting in innocent civilian casualties.
The Thai Army spokesman Boontee stated that there is currently no ceasefire agreement because Cambodia continues to attack Thai military forces and civilian residential areas, posing a serious security threat to Thailand. Thai military operations will continue until Cambodia ceases hostilities.
