The 2025 WTT Hong Kong Finals continued today (December 13). In the mixed doubles semifinals, the Chinese duo of Lin Shidong and Kuai Man lost 1–3 to the Korean pair of Lim Jonghoon and Shin Yubin, missing out on a chance to compete in the mixed doubles final.
During the post-match interview, the DotDotNews reporter inquired about the match's frequent back-and-forth nature and how the players managed to stay focused despite the tight scoreline.
Lim Jonghoon remarked that all matches are tough, but games like this are particularly exciting and enjoyable. He was pleased with the positive result from this match.
When asked about HK cuisine, Shin Yubin shared that she is a big fan of dim sum. During her experience competing at the Hong Kong Coliseum, she noted that the atmosphere was fantastic and that she enjoyed playing there.
Later today, Lim Jonghoon and Shin Yubin will face Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha in the final. Speaking about their expectations for the upcoming match, Lim Jonghoon expressed hope that he and Shin Yubin would perform at their best.
