Today (December 7) marks the Legislative Council General Election day, with citizens across Hong Kong actively casting their votes and taking part in this important civic duty. Our team interviewed Mr. Rizwan Ullah, a member of the Kowloon City District Council.
As a Hongkonger of Pakistani origin, Rizwan has been deeply involved in community affairs since the mid-2000s. He is a strong advocate for the inclusion and education of ethnic minorities. Early this morning, he cast his vote and shared his thoughts with us, emphasizing that voting is not just about choosing representatives—it's a powerful way for individuals to make their voices heard. He encourages everyone to participate and work together toward a more inclusive and diverse Hong Kong.
