Wang Fuk Court fire | Affected residents can replace ID cards, travel documents without appointment

A deadly No. 5 fire broke out at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, resulting in multiple casualties. The Immigration Department announced today (Nov. 27) that residents affected by the Wang Fuk Court fire can apply for a replacement Hong Kong identity card at any Registration of Persons office during office hours without the need for an appointment.

Similarly, affected residents who need to apply for a replacement travel document for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region can also do so at the Immigration Department headquarters or any Immigration Department regional office during office hours, without an appointment.
