On the evening of November 20, the men's team gold medal match for table tennis at the 15th National Games took place in Macao. After four matches, the Beijing team, led by Ma Long and Wang Chuqin, defeated the Shanghai team 3-1 to win the gold medal.
At 37 years old and competing in his sixth National Games, Ma Long led the Beijing team to victory with a 3-1 score against Shanghai, securing the gold medal. Previously, Ma Long had already claimed gold medals in men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles events during the National Games, but there was one title that this "hexagonal warrior" had never won—the National Games men's team championship.
This also marks Ma Long's first gold medal in the men's team event at the National Games, completing the final piece of the puzzle in his professional career.
