The 15th National Games officially opened on the evening of November 9, and today (Nov. 10), competitions will continue in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, with exciting events not to be missed! Swimming events will see the first gold medal awarded today, while diving will showcase more thrilling performances, along with appearances from several table tennis stars.
Swimming
- Men's 400m Freestyle Final: 19:00
- Women's 400m Freestyle Final: 19:31
- Women's 4×100m Freestyle Relay Final: 20:18
- Men's 4×100m Freestyle Relay Final: 20:27
Sun Yang, a veteran swimmer who holds both Asian and national records, will compete in the men's 400m freestyle. Meanwhile, Olympic champion Pan Zhanle, a rising star born in the 2000s, will also participate in the men's 400m freestyle and the men's 4×100m freestyle relay.
On the women's side, Li Bingjie, who has also set Asian and national records, will compete in the 400m freestyle as a strong contender for the gold medal.
Diving
- Men's 3m Springboard Final: 16:00
- Women's 10m Platform Final: 19:30
In diving, Wang Zongyuan, Chen Yuxi, and Zhang Jiaqi will continue to compete! Previously, Wang Zongyuan won the gold medal in the men's 1m springboard, while Chen Yuxi led the semifinals of the women's 10m platform.
Weightlifting
- Women's 45kg Final: 15:00
- Women's 49kg Final: 19:00
In the women's 49kg category, Olympic champion Hou Zhihui will face off against Jiang Huihua. This matchup has been ongoing since the 2016 Rio Olympics cycle, spanning nearly a decade, and due to age factors, it may very well be the last direct confrontation between these two veterans.
Table Tennis
- Men's Singles Round of 16: 12:30, 20:30
- Women's Singles Round of 16: 12:30, 20:30
- Mixed Doubles Round of 8: 13:15, 21:15
In the men's singles Round of 16, Fan Zhendong, Wang Chuqin, and Xiang Peng will compete; in the women's singles Round of 16, Sun Yingsha, Chen Xingtong, and Kuai Man will take the stage.
The gold medal for the mixed doubles in the adult category will be determined on November 14, while the gold medals for the men's and women's singles will be awarded on November 16.
