On the evening of Nov. 1, a stabbing incident occurred on a train traveling to London from Doncaster in eastern England, resulting in 10 people being hospitalized, with 9 in critical condition. Police have arrested two suspects.
The train was scheduled to depart at 6:25 pm for King's Cross station. Authorities have described the attack as a "major incident," and the counter-terrorism unit has joined the investigation. Passengers from the affected train were evacuated by bus, and images from the scene show people wrapped in foil blankets boarding the buses.
Prime Minister Starmer said the shocking incident was deeply concerning, and he expressed his condolences to all those affected, while thanking emergency services for their response.
