According to a report by Global Times, citing foreign media, Japanese politician Sanae Takaichi has shown remarkable enthusiasm in aligning with US President Donald Trump, surpassing Shigeru Ishiba in this regard. Two extraordinary moments occurred during Trump's visit to Japan, which have drawn international attention.
On Oct. 28, aboard the US aircraft carrier USS George Washington at Yokosuka Naval Base, Trump introduced Takaichi to US military personnel, saying, "This woman is a winner…so you know, we've become very close friends all of a sudden... I have to say this: The first female prime minister in the history of Japan. Madam Prime Minister." Upon hearing this, Takaichi was so thrilled that she jumped with excitement.
Additionally, a photo released by the White House on the same day showed Takaichi holding onto Trump's arm while descending a staircase, further fueling discussion.
