Yang Chen-ning, a world-renowned physicist, Nobel Prize winner in Physics, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, professor at Tsinghua University, and honorary director of the Tsinghua University Institute for Advanced Study, passed away due to illness in Beijing on Oct. 18 at 103.
