
Chief Executive John Lee met with reporters today (Oct. 14) before the Executive Council meeting. He stated that the first Chinese medicine hospital in Hong Kong and the government's Chinese medicine testing center will begin phased services in December this year. The Health Bureau will announce a series of arrangements this week.
Lee indicated that the Chinese medicine hospital has five key development missions, including medical services, teaching and training, and creating health value, reflecting the government's commitment. The hospital will serve three main functions, such as providing outpatient and inpatient services.
