Alongside a lineup of K-POP idols holding concerts, HK will also host the largest Korean cultural event of the year—Festive Korea 2025. With over 20 exciting programs covering performing arts, film, sports, K-POP, and cuisine, you'll be fully immersed in the charm of Korean culture.
Critically acclaimed musical premiering in HK

Musical theatre enthusiasts are in for a treat! The highly praised Korean original musical "Let Me Fly" will make its HK debut at the HK City Hall Theatre from Nov. 21 to 23.
This production has swept six nominations at the 7th Korea Musical Awards, winning Best Composition, Best New Actor, and Best Musical of the Year. It also received an unprecedented 9.8/10 rating on Korea's Interpark ticketing platform.
"Let Me Fly" tells a heartwarming, time-traveling tale of a tailor from 1969 who wakes up in 2020. To reunite with his true love, he must navigate this unfamiliar future and uncover the answers to return to his past.

Taekwondo performances: Spectacular demonstrations

When it comes to iconic Korean sports, Taekwondo is always at the top of the list. This year, the Korean Taekwondo Association in HK will showcase a series of dazzling demonstrations. Featuring renowned coaches and talented team members, the performances will include traditional poomsae (patterns), board-breaking techniques, and synchronized group routines.

K-POP random dance party: A crowd favorite

The "Korea Square" is a highlight of the annual festival, and this year's "Korea Square 2025 Festival Weekend" will be held on Oct. 11–12 at PMQ's Ground Plaza. Over two days, visitors can enjoy a variety of cultural experiences.

Highlights include the try-on experience of Korean traditional clothing, traditional game booths, and the highly anticipated K-POP random dance party. Watch as K-POP dance crews perform to randomly played hit songs, delivering a spectacular visual feast.
Additionally, the Korean Cultural Center in HK will host the K-Quiz Grand Challenge, testing your knowledge of Korea's geography, history, language, tourism, cuisine, and pop culture, including K-POP, K-dramas, and films. It's an engaging way to deepen your understanding of Korea from multiple perspectives.
Pop art exhibition: A celebration of culture

This year's festival also features a range of exhibitions and performances. Among them, the exhibition "Kitsch and Pop: Korean Pop Art Now" is on display at the Korean Cultural Center in HK from now until Nov. 22. Through a dialogue between two generations of artists, the exhibition explores the unique evolution of Korean pop art and offers visitors a rare opportunity to gain deeper insights into contemporary Korean art.
In addition, South Korea's National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts will make its debut in HK next month, presenting "Jongmyo Jeryeak, Ritual Music for Royal Ancestors" on Nov. 8 and 9.
It is hailed as one of the country's most iconic cultural treasures. This performance will feature nearly 50 musicians and dancers, coming together to recreate the ancient royal rituals. The performance showcases court officials dressed in traditional ceremonial attire, delivering solemn orchestral music, elegant vocal chants, and ritual dances, offering a profound glimpse into the rich legacy of royal court music and rituals.
