The Nine-Dragon Wall is located outside the Gate of Imperial Supremacy of the Forbidden City. At its center is a prominently featured yellow dragon flanked on both sides by blue and white dragons. On the outer sides, there are one yellow dragon and one purple dragon, making a total of nine dragons. The Nine-Dragon Wall divides the dragons into five sections, symbolizing the imperial significance of the number nine and the number five which represent the supreme status of the Son of Heaven. The top of the wall is adorned with yellow glazed tiles. The wall is also decorated with blue and green hues, capturing the majestic sight where the sky meets the water.
