
The MTR announced today (Sept. 28) that it will launch a free beverage distribution event, offering a total of 88,888 bottles of water for free at designated MTR stations over the next two days.
The MTR stated that although autumn has begun, it is still important to stay hydrated while outdoors to help lower body temperature and absorb more "clean" energy. Over the course of two days (today and tomorrow), the MTR, in collaboration with Watsons Distilled Water, will distribute a total of 88,888 bottles of water for free at designated stations across multiple lines in Hong Kong.

September 28 (Afternoon):
Inside Stations: Tsuen Wan, Sheung Shui, Tai Po Market, Sha Tin, Tseung Kwan O
Outside Stations: Whampoa, Lai Chi Kok, Kwai Fong, Tung Chung
September 29 (Morning):
Inside Stations: Admiralty, Wan Chai, Mong Kok East, Kowloon Bay
Outside Stations: Quarry Bay, Wong Chuk Hang, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Diamond Hill
Friendly Reminders:
- No eating or drinking is allowed inside the gates and on trains.
- Each person is limited to one bottle; supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please queue in an orderly manner to maintain order.
- After consumption, please assist in recycling the plastic bottles to contribute to environmental protection.
