Super Typhoon Ragasa hit Hong Kong with strong winds. As the city prepares for the storm, some individuals have decided to head to the beach to "chase the wind and waves". A netizen posted a video on social media showing a shirtless man standing by the shore "watching the waves," refusing to leave even when hit by the waves, and even taking a couple of steps closer to the water.
In response, netizens criticized him, saying things like, "Don't involve the firefighters and police," "You're a burden to others," "Do you have a death wish?" One commenter pointed out, "Have these people ever thought that the rescuers who come to save them also have families and loved ones? Can you please not be so selfish?"
The police remind everyone that with Super Typhoon Ragasa approaching, for your own safety, please do not go outside to "chase the wind and waves."
