According to reports from China News Service citing foreign media, as of the morning of Sept. 10 (local time), Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle Corporation, saw his net worth soar by US$89 billion, reaching US$393 billion, briefly surpassing Elon Musk (US$385 billion) to become the world's richest person.
The report stated that by the end of the trading day, Oracle's stock price had retraced some of its gains, allowing Musk to regain his position as the richest person in the world. It noted that before being briefly surpassed by Ellison, Musk had held the title of the world's richest person for nearly a year.
