On the morning of Sept. 3, a grand ceremony was held at Beijing's Tian'anmen Square to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
Leading the parade was the Battle Flag Formation, followed by seven combat groups—the Land Combat Group, Maritime Combat Group, Air Defense and Anti-missile Operations Group, Information Warfare Group, Unmanned Combat Group, Logistics Support Group, and Strategic Strike Group—who showcased their equipment during the review.
The equipment formations were organized in a joint combat configuration, reflecting real-world operational scenarios. Many of the featured systems represent cutting-edge advancements in modern warfare, with some being key national assets. Together, they vividly demonstrated the People's Liberation Army's formidable capabilities to win in modern warfare.
