On the afternoon of Aug. 18, US President Donald Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House, marking their first meeting in six months.
Notably, during the meeting, the White House reportedly displayed a map highlighting areas already under Russian control in orange-red. Some reports suggest this was Trump's attempt to pressure Zelensky into accepting the idea of "territorial concessions in exchange for peace."
