
The 35th Food Expo is being held from today (Aug. 14) for five consecutive days at the Wan Chai Convention and Exhibition Centre. The expo was originally scheduled to open at 10 am, but its opening was delayed due to the issuance of the No. 1 typhoon signal and a black rainstorm warning. The black rainstorm warning signal was canceled at 11:10 am, and the Food Expo, along with the Food Expo Pro, Hong Kong International Tea Fair, Beauty &Wellness Expo, and Home Delights Expo, reopened to visitors at 1:10 pm.
According to DotDotNews reporters at the scene, despite ongoing rain in some areas of Hong Kong, citizens showed great enthusiasm and flocked to the expo to sample the featured delicacies after it reopened.



It is reported that the Food Expo, Beauty &Wellness Expo, and Home Delights Expo will extend their opening hours until 11 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Aug. 15 to 17). The Food Expo Pro, Hong Kong International Tea Fair will continue to be open until 6 pm today and tomorrow (Aug. 14 to 15), and until 5 pm on Saturday (Aug. 16).
Visitors holding valid tickets for today's public session can use their tickets for entry during the remaining days of the expo.
Regarding the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products, the second and third sessions in the afternoon will resume in a hybrid format.
