South Korean pop group BIGBANG's leader G-DRAGON held a three-day concert at AsiaWorld-Expo from August 8 to 10, igniting a "GD fever" across Hong Kong. This morning (August 11), after concluding his performances, GD departed from Hong Kong International Airport, where over a hundred fans gathered early at the boarding gate to bid him farewell.
Fans were seen pulling out their phones and cameras, trying to capture the perfect angle, while others prepared gifts and postcards to give to their idol. At noon, GD arrived at the boarding gate dressed in red, accompanied by bodyguards and staff. Upon seeing their idol, fans erupted in cheers, barely able to contain their excitement. G-DRAGON, however, remained low-key, quickly making his way to the boarding gate.

GD held a three-day concert in Hong Kong, with his image visible everywhere—from buses and trams to Star Ferry boats, and from Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay's LED screens to street corners. It is reported that August is GD's birthday month, and all the fan support was organized voluntarily, costing nearly a million Hong Kong dollars.
With the concert now concluded, from August 15 to September 7, Tsim Sha Tsui's Harbour City will host the "G-DRAGON MEDIA EXHIBITION: Übermensch," an immersive digital art exhibition. Tickets went on exclusive sale through Klook starting at noon today, priced at HK$188 each.
