
The World Table Tennis (WTT) Champions Macao 2025 is set to take place from Sept. 9 to 14 at the East Asian Games Dome in Macao. The first batch of participants was announced on Aug. 8, featuring 11 players from China, including world No. 1s Lin Shidong and Sun Yingsha, who will compete in the men's and women's singles events, respectively.
In the men's singles, the top five players at the time of registration are Lin Shidong (China), Wang Chuqin (China), Hugo Calderano (Brazil), Tomokazu Harimoto (Japan), and Liang Jingkun (China). Other Chinese players participating in this category include Xiang Peng and Chen Yuanyu.

For the women's singles, the top five players at the time of registration are all from China: Sun Yingsha, Wang Manyu, Chen Xingtong, Kuai Man, and Wang Yidi. Another Chinese participant in this category is Chen Yi.
Additionally, high-ranking players from other associations, such as Lin Yun-Ju, Jorgic Darko, Zhu Yuling, and Miwa Harimoto, will also take part in this competition.
The men's and women's singles champions of the Macao event will each earn 1,000 world ranking points.
