To coincide with the "CHIIKAWA DAYS" special exhibition, McDonald's is launching a related themed event. Starting at 11:00 a.m. today (Aug. 7), two McDonald's locations, one on Yee Wo Street in Causeway Bay and one at Telford Plaza in Kowloon Bay, will be transformed into pop-up CHIIKAWA DAYS stores. A limited-edition cup sleeve will be available, available while supplies last.
Both locations have been decked out in "CHIIKAWA DAYS"-themed décor, including banners, posters, large character playing cards, a photo-taking wall, and window decorations. CHIIKAWA fans who purchase any Prawn Burger combo and upgrade to any McCafé cold drink via the McDonald's mobile app with a designated coupon will receive a free CHIIKAWA DAYS limited-edition cup sleeve featuring Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi.
In addition, a new CHIIKAWA Happy Meal toy, the "Usagi Hot Pancake," will be available starting at 11:00 am on Friday (Aug. 8). This Usagi-shaped toy can hold small items. McDonald's stated that the CHIIKAWA Happy Meal toys will continue to be available on a rotating basis every Monday and Friday at 11:00 am.
