The Shenzhen-Hong Kong direct express bus service officially launched on Aug. 2, operating between Shenzhen Sea World and Hong Kong via the Shenzhen Bay Port. This route is the first direct line from Shekou to Hong Kong that utilizes the Shenzhen Bay Port as a customs hub, completing the entire journey in just 1.5 hours, a 30-minute savings compared to traditional routes.
The express bus departs from the Hui Gang Shopping Center at Shenzhen Sea World, passes through the Shenzhen Bay customs, and can reach destinations like Mong Kok and Causeway Bay in Hong Kong.
Huang Binbin, Assistant Marketing Manager of the transportation company, stated that the express bus has over 30 pick-up and drop-off points in Hong Kong, including Kowloon, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong Airport, Disneyland, and Ocean Park.
Initially, the route will operate three round trips daily, with real-time ticket purchasing available through a WeChat mini-program. One-way tickets start at RMB 50. During peak travel times, additional bus services will be added dynamically.
