U.S. President Donald Trump stated on social media that the United States is prepared to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities again if necessary, following last month's strikes targeting three Iranian nuclear sites.
While international observers have questioned the effectiveness of the attacks—reporting only one facility as "severely destroyed"—Trump cited Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi's remarks acknowledging significant damage, including the destruction of nuclear infrastructure.
Despite the U.S. strikes, Iran has no intention of abandoning its nuclear program, Foreign Minister Araghchi confirmed on July 21. In an interview with Fox News, Araghchi admitted, "Uranium enrichment activities are currently suspended due to the substantial damage, but we clearly will not give up enrichment." He emphasized that Iran's nuclear advancements represent a source of national pride and scientific achievement.
