Delta Air Lines has announced the launch of a new nonstop route between Hong Kong and Los Angeles, set to begin in June 2026. The move aims to expand the airline's Asia-Pacific network.
The route will be operated daily using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, offering four cabin classes: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main. Delta Premium Select will feature wider seats and greater recline for added comfort.
Delta also plans to provide 30 direct connecting flights for passengers traveling between HK and various North American cities, enhancing convenience for trans-Pacific travelers.
While the official website currently only lists connecting flights via Incheon, ticket pricing and schedules for the new route have yet to be announced. Delta emphasized the significance of this route for its cargo network, suggesting that cargo operations played a key role in reopening the HK service.
Delta previously operated a Seattle-HK route in 2018 but discontinued it due to weak demand.
