The 15th National Games of the People's Republic of China and the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities are fast approaching, sparking excitement across Hong Kong. To commemorate the event, an official licensed merchandise store has opened on the GFM floor of the West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, offering a range of exclusive souvenirs for citizens and travelers to take home as mementos.

At the store entrance, statues of the Games' mascots, "Xiyangyang" and "Lerongrong," have quickly become a popular photo spot for visitors. Inside, a variety of limited-edition merchandise featuring the mascots is on display, including canvas bags, blind boxes, plush toys, and keychains. Among the highlights is a blind box featuring lion dance mascot keychains, creatively blending traditional culture from the Greater Bay Area (GBA) with the dynamic spirit of the Games.

Yu Fangming, Director of Licensed Products at Yuanlong International Holdings Group, explained that the mascots were inspired by dolphins, a symbol of the marine connection in the GBA. The merchandise designs emphasize themes related to the GBA, incorporating iconic landmarks and culinary elements from Guangdong, HK, and Macao.
Yu also revealed that exclusive HK-themed products have been created, drawing inspiration from the seven events hosted locally. These items are only available at HK retail outlets and are expected to resonate with younger consumers.
As the main venue for HK's events, Kai Tak Sports Park will host competitions such as fencing and rugby sevens. A flagship store at Kai Tak is set to officially open on July 14, with another flagship store in Wan Chai currently under preparation. By August 1, when the 100-day countdown to the Games begins, additional retail outlets across HK will gradually open to the public.
