With Israel and Iran agreeing to a ceasefire, the 12-day conflict has officially ended. According to CCTV News Frontline, there were no attacks across Israel or Iran from the evening of June 24 to the early morning of June 25. Iran announced the start of reconstruction efforts, while Israel lifted restrictions on gatherings and reopened Ben-Gurion International Airport.
The ceasefire negotiations faced significant challenges. On June 23, U.S. President Trump announced a "comprehensive and complete ceasefire" effective at 7 am Israel time and 8 am Iran time on June 24. Iran initiated a 12-hour ceasefire, with Israel following suit. However, both sides soon accused each other of violating the agreement and resumed attacks. Israel launched airstrikes on Iranian targets, including Tehran, resulting in numerous casualties. Iran retaliated with missile strikes on Israel, causing fatalities and injuries.

By the morning of June 24, Trump expressed dissatisfaction with both nations' actions. Following a call from Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu decided against further attacks on Iran.
Iran's government has begun rebuilding efforts, but the reconstruction faces challenges due to extensive damage from Israeli strikes on various sites, including residential and scientific areas. Despite the ceasefire, security checkpoints remain, and Iranian authorities have restricted filming in public spaces. The country's airspace remains closed, with flights delayed until at least 2 pm on June 25.
In Tehran and other cities, some residents are cautiously returning, unsure of the ceasefire's durability given past violations by Israel. Iranian President Pezerhiziyan reached out to regional leaders to promote peace and stability.
In Israel, the Home Front Command lifted restrictions on gatherings, and Ben-Gurion International Airport has resumed normal operations. However, Israeli media suggest that without clear agreements on critical issues like Iran's nuclear program and missile development, the ceasefire's longevity remains uncertain.
