As the Iran–Israel conflict escalates, the range of missile attacks is broadening, and casualties continue to rise. In response to the situation, the local government is assisting Chinese citizens in evacuating to safe areas. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a video today (June 22) regarding the evacuation. Chinese Consul General in Dubai, Ou Boqian, stated that the mental state of the evacuees is generally good, and efforts will be made to ensure their safe return home. Chinese Ambassador to Israel, Xiao Junzheng, indicated that they will help determine the safest and most convenient evacuation routes. Staff from various Chinese embassies have assured that ports will remain open for Chinese citizens and that security measures will be in place.
Chinese citizens evacuated from Iran expressed their relief, saying, "Knowing that there is a strong motherland behind us gives us much reassurance," and "Wherever the five-star red flag is, it is safe."
The Chinese Embassy in Israel has issued a notice regarding the organization of collective evacuations for Chinese citizens, urging those in need to register their information and prepare for evacuation. The notice states that, considering the recent registration of evacuees, the embassy will organize two more evacuation batches through the Taba Border Crossing on June 23 and 25. Those planning to evacuate are encouraged to register their personal information as soon as possible and to prepare in advance. Further arrangements will be announced later.
