Recently, renowned American media personality Tucker Carlson publicly called out US Senator Ted Cruz for his lack of basic knowledge about Iran while advocating for the overthrow of the government.
During a heated exchange, Carlson grilled Cruz on Iran's demographics, starting with a simple question: "How many people live in Iran?" Cruz admitted he didn't know the population, prompting Carlson to fire back: "You don't know the population of the country you seek to topple?"
Carlson, who confidently stated the figure as 92 million, sparred with Cruz over whether such details matter. When asked about Iran's ethnic composition, Cruz, visibly agitated, shot back: "I am not the Tucker Carlson expert on Iran."
Carlson didn't hold back: "You're a senator who's calling the overthrow of the government and you don't know anything about the country!"
