
The prestigious SKYTRAX 2025 World's Top 100 Airlines rankings, often referred to as the "Oscars of the Aviation Industry," were recently released. Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific has reclaimed its spot among the top three global airlines, ranking 3rd this year, up two places from its 5th position in 2024.
In addition to its overall ranking, Cathay Pacific was honored with accolades for the "World's Best Airline Cabin Crew" and the "World's Best Inflight Entertainment." This marks a significant achievement for the airline, affirming its commitment to delivering excellence in customer experience.
Cathay Pacific CEO Ronald Lam expressed his excitement over the results, stating, "It is truly gratifying and inspiring to see Cathay Pacific rise to the top three in the 'World's Top 100 Airlines' rankings, moving up two places from last year. These awards will motivate us to continue striving for breakthroughs and maintaining our dedication to becoming one of the world's most exceptional service brands."
Cathay's budget airline subsidiary, HK Express, also made its mark by entering the top 100 for the first time, leaping from 119th place last year to an impressive 72nd this year.
