Chief Executive John Lee announced today (June 17) before the Executive Council meeting that Xia Baolong, the Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Work Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, will visit Hong Kong from June 18 to 22. He will attend a forum organized by the SAR government to mark the fifth anniversary of the promulgation and implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law and will also conduct research on the latest developments in Hong Kong's social progress.
