Hongkong Post revealed today (June 3) that it will release five sets of special stamps featuring various themes from July to December 2025. Each stamp set boasts unique designs and styles, making them appealing collectibles for both philatelists and the general public.

The "24 Solar Terms" of the Chinese calendar, listed as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2016, represent seasonal changes and weather patterns. Following the earlier releases of "24 Solar Terms - Spring" and "24 Solar Terms - Summer" stamps in 2020 and 2023, Hongkong Post will introduce "24 Solar Terms - Autumn" stamps, highlighting six autumn solar terms: "Autumn Commences," "End of Heat," "White Dew," "Autumnal Equinox," "Cold Dew," and "Frost."

In 2007, the Central Government gifted Hong Kong two giant pandas, Ying Ying and Le Le. They welcomed twin cubs, Jia Jia and De De, on August 15, 2024. The adorable cubs have quickly gained public affection, and Hongkong Post will issue stamps themed on the "Giant Panda Twin Cubs," showcasing their daily lives and growth milestones.

Hong Kong is home to many unique hiking trails that offer diverse green experiences. Among these, the Wilson Trail stretches approximately 78 kilometers from Stanley to Nam Chung, covering various areas of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories. Hongkong Post will release a set of 10 special stamps titled "Hong Kong Hiking Trails Series No. 3: Wilson Trail," featuring the stunning scenery along different sections of the trail.

The airport is crucial to Hong Kong's development as an international aviation hub. Kai Tak Airport's passenger terminal began operations in the 1960s but closed in 1998 when Hong Kong International Airport moved to Chek Lap Kok, now operating a three-runway system. The HKSAR Government is advancing the Airport City development strategy. Hongkong Post will issue a set of stamps themed "Aviation Development in Hong Kong" to highlight the city’s flourishing aviation sector.

Christmas brings joy and warmth, and as a city that embraces both Chinese and Western cultures, Hong Kong radiates festive cheer during the holiday season. Hongkong Post will issue special stamps themed "Christmas Stamps V," featuring the nighttime view of Victoria Harbour with various Christmas elements under a starry sky, celebrating the spirit of the season.

Customers can start placing advance orders for these new stamp products today via Hongkong Post's online shopping mall, "ShopThruPost" (shopthrupost.hongkongpost.hk). For more details, visit the Facebook page "郵票.郵趣@Hongkong Post Stamps" (www.facebook.com/HKPStamps). Those who order by June 23 (Monday) will receive special gifts and bonus points.
